The WiDaF® certificate allows, above all, companies, third-level institutions and other educational facilities, to objectively measure the business-related proficiency in German of foreign skilled employees. WiDaF® is designed for beginners and advanced learners and comprises test questions on e-mail correspondence, telephone calls, small talk in the office and numerous other themes. DIHK-Bildungs-GmbH, the Deutsche Industrie- and Handelskammer and the Bundesagentur für Arbeit subsidise WiDaF® tests. You receive your certificate two weeks after the examination.
The WiDaF® examination encompasses the topics:
- Grammar and reading – 100 multiple-choice questions
- Listening – 50 multiple-choice questions/li>
You can achieve a total of 180 points. Each sections shows a separate result which goes to make up the overall total.
