While the TOEFL ITP® (Institutional Testing Program) is not as widely-used as the TOEFL iBT®, it is still recognised as proof of proficiency by some universities and institutions. It offers the benefit of allowing you to select the individual test date flexibly and by arrangement. The TOEFL ITP® consists of 140 multiple-choice tasks to assess your listening and reading comprehension as well as your knowledge of grammar. The structure of the TOEFL ITP® test:
- Reading Comprehension – 55 minutes for 50 questions with 31 to 67 points
- Listening Comprehension – 35 minutes for 50 questions with 31 to 68 points
- Structure and Written Expression – 40 minutes for 25 questions with 31 to 68 points
You have a total of 114 minutes to answer 140 questions with 310 to 677 points.
