Anyone wishing to have their knowledge of French evaluated for career reasons or for naturalisation purposes is well advised to take the Test de Connaissance du Français, in brief TCF. The TCF is valid for two years and is recognised by various international authorities and universities. The test is available in a paper version or can be taken electronically.
Levels and specialisations of the TFC test at Eloquia:
- TCF Public – language qualification for degree and post-grad students, consisting of three mandatory and two elective assignments
- TCF Pour la DAP – language qualification for foundation-level students and for universities of architecture, approx. 3 hours
- TCF Québec – language qualification for immigrants to Quebec, comprised of the two sections, listening comprehension and oral expression, approx. 45 minutes
- TCF ANF – language qualification for French citizenship, comprising two sections, listening comprehension and oral communication, approx. 45 minutes
